Here at ADDICT HQ we definitely think 2015 was year of grime, so we are keen to know what 2016 has to offer!
We picked a few of our favourites from their list, check them out!
GRANDMIXXER is definitely one we will all listen to in 2016, he grew up on the grime scene so it comes naturally to the South Londoner. Plus, he clearly loves camo - an ADDICT staple!
Check out his RINSE FM podcast below:
A.G used to blog about up and coming grime and is relatively new to the DJ scene but she is killing it!
Her goals for 2016 are to be the sickest version of herself that she can be - us too, A.G!
Check out her mix below:
DULLAH BEATZ started out as part of a grime crew called N Double A, his DJ career kicked off at a club night 2 years ago. He has been playing and making grime since the start and his mixes are SICK!
Make sure to listen to his FABRICLIVE x BDL mix below:
GENERAL COURTZ was inspired by our other pick GRANDMIXXER when he connected with him in 2011 and since then as been perfecting his craft as a Grime DJ.
In 2016 he aims to be a sharper DJ and play to more audiences. Listen to his mix below:
Grime music comes naturally to North Londoner J BEATZ who looked for inspiration from DJs such as EZ and Spyro, a couple guys also on our radar.
Check out his guest mix for PROJECT ALLOUT below:
Here at ADDICT HQ we can't wait to see them blowing up over 2016, make sure to check out all of their links and show them massive support!

Here at ADDICT HQ we love new music, so we are looking forward to whats to come in 2016.
As the BBC SOUND OF 2016 countdown has just kicked off, we wanted to talk about some of our favourite contenders from the long list.
Hackney based singer songwriter and producer NAO is completely refreshing amongst the current female artists. She’s has created her own abstract brand combining the sounds of soul pop and R&B.
2. J HUS
South London rapper who combines hip hop, acrobats and grime. His debut mixtape 'The 15th Day' is one of the best British urban debuts in years. He just landed a massive record deal and we reckon he is going to race to the top of the BBC sound of chart!
Check out his unique track 'LEAN & BOP'
MABEL isn’t a stranger to the music industry being the daughter of Neneh Cherry.
We love her fresh and rich R&B style, you need to check out her new single 'MY BOY MY TOWN'
4. SECTION BOYZ
They are a six person grime group who have practised their craft on the estates of Croydon for the last few years. They have already won MOBO award for best newcomer, and 2016 is looking to become a big year for them.
Check out their most recent release 'MAD MAN TING'
Heres hoping our personal ADDICT faves do well in the countdown!

We're not entirely sure what's going on across the pond, but while we are all sat around a sparkly tree giving ADDICT gifts to our loved ones, some of music's biggest names will be dropping their newest releases.
It looks like both Timbaland and Rihanna have decided to try their luck at overshadowing the holidays! NME reckon Rihanna's video is hinting at the release, "the change of pace in her clips suggests the album could come out as soon as Christmas Day" while Timbaland has himself announced plans for his release to be 25th December.
Not only that, Timbaland will be releasing his first ever mix-tape, titled King Stays King, offering 16 tracks and featuring collaborations with Yung Thug, Rich Homie Quan, and Blaze.
As an extra gift for the season, King Stays King will also feature a previously unheard song from the late R&B singer Aaliyah.

It's no secret we are fans of art!
Down here at ADDICT HQ we are massive fans of Shepard Fairey + crew. Their current exhibition is called Covert to Overt and is on at The House of Vans until 6th December. It tells the compelling story of the OBEY crew's travels from Jon Furlong’s perspective through photographs.
Check out Covert To Overt which captures Fairey’s street art, gallery exhibitions and murals from 2009 to the present!

We went back to basics with our Autumn Winter 15 collection to create a small but strong line of easy-to-wear statement pieces, which still retaining the technical detailing ADDICT has always been known for.
Key pieces to the collection include the strong tailoring of the Padded Shirt Jacket, the white Kwills camouflage printed Neo Mariner Jacket, and, most notably, the Reflective Reversible Windcheater which features a completely high reflective outer shell.
In true form, we have released some limited edition pieces in collaboration with two very talented artists. in our Artist Series this season, you can find work by world-renowned illustration agency ilovedust, who delivered their trademark abstract typography for the Operations Jacket, and also an amazing all over print by draughtsman Kwills, who presented this season’s brushstroke woodland camo print.

Meet the photography mastermind, Tom Joy, who shot our Autumn Winter 15 collection fresh off the plane from Norway!
Name: Tom Joy
Location: Originally from Aberdeen - I've been in Leeds for just over 2 years now. LEEDSLEEDSLEEDS!
Has also worked with the likes of: Red Bull, The Hundreds, Harvey Nichols, Abandon Ship, Prevalence Co, and I've just finished up a pretty cool project for Leeds City Council related to my @LeedsLurking project
What are you listening to right now: The Rolling Stones - Give me Shelter. Shout out to my Dad for this influence!
Why Photography: Fundamentally, photography is something that has never held me back. I have control of it, I have control being self employed and I can go at the pace I want. Back at Secondary School I wanted to pursue business marketing - I guess I'm doing that to a large extent being a freelancer whilst also being able to engage with my creative side. There's only a few things that let me switch off completely and I am probably most relaxed when I'm behind my camera focussed on what's in front of me.
Which ADDICT piece was your favourite from the shoot? That's tough... I really liked the olive bomber jacket - the quilting on the exterior was cool and the vibrant orange looked rad! I also really liked the grey collared jacket. It's simple and could be smart or casual - perfect.
