Epic Cotton by Nextec

Nextec believe that the best performance fabric technology is invisible, so you’re free to do whatever takes you outdoors without having to think about the gear you are using. That requires both performance and comfort, which is where Epic fabrics are totally different from other available technologies.

Epic, as an environmentally conscientious company’s goal is to remain eco-safe and maintain a clean, protected environment. Epic’s processes use no solvents or other substances known to be hazardous to the environment, or to workplace health and saftey and they use inert, 100% solid materials which create no hazardous wastes.

The Technology

Epic Cotton uses fibre encapsulation to protect each individual strand in the fabric creating a polymer barrier leaving virtually no spaces where water can be trapped. This also makes Epic super fast drying because water simply beads on the surface.

This proccess effectively locks the water resistance inside the fabric, meaning Epic retains its performance characteristics, even after washing. With this technology, fabrics that traditionally would not provide protection in the outdoors can keep you dry and comfortable like never before.

C-Law

After a long time in the grime, Chris Law AKA C-Law flew the crookednest across the Atlantic, up-coast to study his trade under the mighty Adi Dassler. With passion proven through a lifelong obsession with trainers, the 3 stripes embraced C-Law's design and product appreciation and made him a general.

“Through the various workings and designs I’d been producing for Addict over the last few seasons I started to decipher some of the images I’d been using, and I liked the aggressive feel they had. After playing around a bit with sizes and angles, working it into a tile for a print, things came together quite nicely. I then added in some other ideas that had been floating around, one being my skull style nettles, influenced by tattooed cherry blossoms, I then threw in some tyre skid marks and some BMX freewheels, and these complimented the design to. So there it is."
